Dance = movement + story

Capturing the expression of the human psyche is what fascinates me most as a photographer. In much of my work, the focus is on the face - the most expressive part of the body. With dancers, the entire body is a buffet of meaning; I love photographing those who use everything from a subtle glance of the eye to smallest crook of the finger to convey their stories through movement. - Sharona Jacobs
